hmm...so its actually not accurate to the last inch..but its ok lei..i love stingAFTER i bought my MR..haha..its so comfortable to hold and weild..

all parcels or packages no matter by courier or normal post have to go thru x-ray screening in singapore.

i think.. its not a matter of accuracy but scale.. bearing in mind that as a matter of fact.. at least 2 differently scaled models of Sting were used in the movie..
tb sting? for kids maybe. no kick. the tb anduril so ugly may i add.

guoyi already explained that there were more than 1 prop size.Most likely the two companies got two different props.

let me elaborate.. 2 different scales.. one scale based on 'hobbit' proportions, and the other for the 'human' proportions..
UC's one is scaled to 'human' proportion..as that would complement the other replica swords.. whilst MR's is scaled to 'hobbit' proportion.. so its slightly bigger..
NC's sting is also scaled to hobbit propotion I think..
hm...seems mr have different views on how the products are made. but noble are same scale as uc right?
so to summarise, uc and noble's scale are what the weapons size will be to the actual characters if they were real.
but mr scale is made to make us look like we are of the size of the character...right?

Nope, if I'm not mistaken UC and NC are different..

since you asked i went to take a look too. didnt visit them for long time. their anduril scabbard offer seems attractive to me...

Usually display piece are those defects or handled by many ppl and poor condition. Wha, if ship to overseas and arrive damage they do not take reponsibility? wha is this? it's their fault for not packing properly etc...

the clause regarding the 3 months 'warranty'.. initially it was supp to be for 1 year, then i hear its cut down to 6 months... now this.. 
unbelievable right? how can they keep reducing it. 3 months might as well dont give. dont like we will pay hundreds of bucks to scratch the sword and submerge it in water to make it rust...

last time the member's card to collect stamps for redemption of things, used to be every $100 spent 1 chop. later changed to min $100 purchase 1 item 1 chop.
so when prev you buy a $400 sword you get 4 chops, now you only get one. you want to get 4 chops? buy 4 items that cost min $100 lor. exp right? they told me because too many ppl redeem liao then not enough to change condition.

they claim they did but i didnt remember them doing so by mail. have to find out from the ground staff or on their site.
i lazy nev clean my sword haha, keep it in its case. once in a while take out n see see...

of course not! that's why ppl say uc quality good! they have protective thing i think, the material is stainless steel afterall. it wont rust or stain UNLESS, you keep touching it with your hands and you didnt clean the blade off your prints after that.
they were saying must clean cos the oil from your hands will corode the metal. so basically just clean with a cloth can already. you kiasu have lots of time n love to clean then you get those cleaners lor. but must make sure you get the right one. else later you polish become shiny!!! some blades are made not to be shiny.
others have their own ways like coating it will some thing i cant remember so protect the blade too... but basically low maintanance if you can take care of it. just everynow and then wipe with cloth to get rid of dust and hand prints.
