yup. I got the SAFRA membership and also Caesar's membership since I bought a product over S$300. Having the sword delivered to my place on Monday evening as I didn't want to lug it around. Yeah the sword is nice. I was deciding between Glamdring and Aragorn's Ranger sword. The guy told me the the sword has a false edge or false blade. Not quite sure what it means. It's heavy but not that heavy.

The guy who was there, whose name is Jefferson, works at the Far East outlet. Well he told me they have a display piece of Arwen's Hadhafang at Far East so can check it out.

One on the freebies when I signed up for the SAFRA membership was a S$50 Caesars Gun Gallery voucher but I realised using it is 'bo hua' coz my membership with them already gives me a saving of S$75 everytime I buy a sword. If you're interested Nic, can sell you the voucher @ at discounted price.

Ok. As far as I know, United Cutlery and Noble Collection are the only 2 companies that are officially licensed to reproduce the LOTR swords. There are online sites that carry their products. They don't make them but just sell them. Here are some of them:

I pre-ordered Arwen's Hadhafang at Caesar's Gun Gallery @ Far East Plaza today. They had a display piece and I had a feel of it. Liked it very much especially the Elvish inscription on the blade. Also, the blade is sharp on one side so be careful. Hope to receive it in 3-4 weeks' time.

U are right. They only show the making process at united's website and not factory. Really got to see those elven blade myself.

well Arwen's sword, Hadhafang is retailing for $495 but since I'm a member at Caesars Gun Gallery, I get a 15% discount on any items in the store so I paid $420.75 for mine. I had to pre-order coz they didn't have anymore of it. Paid 30% of the total amount which is $120 as deposit and the rest when the sword arrives in 3-4 weeks time. The staff at Caesars told me Hadhafang is a hot item. The last time his boss brought 8pcs in, all were sold out. If you have the $$, it's better if you pre-order it. I pre-ordered mine at the Far East Plaza outlet.

Thanks for the info, Elven Archer! I didn't know there was an earlier shipment of Hadhafang. Had been emailing Caesar's for since last year asking when was the sword arriving and they didn't mention anything. But I'll head down and make a deposit. Hope they're still accepting pre-orders. Not a member but I think they're accepting Times membership card and giving a 12% discount or something. Hope they still do. Will use that. Thanks again!

nope. delivery is free. it better be after spending so much $$ at their shop. I plan to get most if not all the LOTR swords by United Cutlery.

I did. Bought Gandalf's Glamdring and then today pre-ordered Arwen's sword, Hadhafang.

I casually said they will do sauron's mace. Didn't expect them to really do it. Some more got helmet and so on. United cutlery is making big money man!!! Ha... if I have a 4-digit pay every mth, I will get also.

I need to clear some space or buy some shelves to display my Hadhafang. Unlike the other LOTR swords, it doesn't come with a plaque which you can mount on the wall. It comes with a stand. Found an ideal place for it. Build a shelf above my pc table so whenever I look up, I'll see the sword and think of Arwen.

woohoo! received my Glamdring abt 25 mins ago. Really nice to hold it in my hands. Swung it around a few times to get a feel of it. Both sides of the sword are blunt but the top is pointed and sharp. Can't wait to add more UC LOTR swords to my collection.

Never noticed it in the cinema. Legolas was the only one standing atop the snow on the snowy moutain. The rest alreadly sunk in. I think I will stick wif bust if I want to go into LOTR. The prologue elf and a few others not bad looking.

Those are in order of importance, but feel free to let me know where I am wrong Maybe Swordsman can start a poll. The retail costs for many of these products will be higher than the swords due to the complicated manufacturing methods used, especially the helmets. Most of these will be more or less hand made, in limited production runs of 1500-3000 pieces each.

SWORDS - I can confirm we will be making strider's Elven dagger with sheath, Legolas' daggers with sheath, and the Elven warrior sword, all from TTT. I have NO ship date info as of yet but I thought I would let everyone here know.

Theoden's sword may be next on that list but we are still evaluating it as well as Eowyn's and Eomer's. The interest for the Rohirrim swords has been mixed. People either like them or dislike them. Not much in between. All three will get more play in Return of the King, so there is always time. Those are not the only swords we will make from TTT. Just the start.

Helmets? maybe not Nic. The only exception could be the Elven Warrior's helmet. I'll definitely get the Elven Warrior's sword and shield. If I watch my spending, can save enuff $$ to buy 2 swords per month. I want to give tuition but not possible as I'm so bz with schoolwork. I'm in school at 630am every day and I only get home between 530-6pm. Sometimes have some work to do even when I'm home. Basically too tired to do anything else.

I wanted to buy Narsil next month but I found out the Narsil will be reforged into Andúril, the sword Aragorn will use in ROTK. Basically, they will look alike but the main difference would be Andúril will contain an inscription on the blade which Narsil doesn't have.

Yes, you should get the scabbard too. It's a whole set. If you are going to pay so much for the sword, might as well get it as a complete set.

Hi, I am thinking about ordering some of the LOTR swords like Narsil, Sting, etc from the US. These swords are not the original replicas by UC but rather copies. However, from the photos I have seen, they look very good and really solid. Made of stainless steel according to the guy selling them.

On average, each sword would cost about S$150 inclusive of shipping fees.

I have seen Caesar's selling the Narsil for more than S$200.

Not sure if anybody here has bought before and also about the actual quality of the copies.

Would appreciate if any interested guy can provide some comments.

seen pics of these copy swords. they look good but I still prefer the real mccoy from United Cutlery. I still think the quality and craftsmanship is much better.
