yes this scene will be included in the extended edition of the dvd. I saw a pic of this scene somewhere on the web. Pippin riding with Gandalf on Shadowfax when they're confronted by Morgul Lord and his Fell Beast.

hurray!! just got my staff of saruman!!
its rather bigger and longer than I'd expected... the rod is rather thick... and its a bit top heavy cos of the staff's head...
but.. overall its a great piece!!
heard tat sheares has one piece currently, caesar's brought in 4 pieces.. 2 in suntec and 1 remaining in far east..
guess its partial shipment..

i hv word from the manager of caesar's tat they hv just reached a MOU with United Cutleries... collectors with rusty UC blades can do a one to one exchange with UC thru caesar's... this warranty extends to one year of purchase...

Guys, where is sheares? Went Ceasar's yesterday. They had hadhafang on display. Finally got to see a magnificent piece of work.
A little off topic. Saw a sword that is an esact replica of the one used by kang-xi, a qing dynasty emperor. really wanna get.

sheares is @ beach road.. opp shaw towers..
yeah.. hadhafang is nice.. but.. its just too sharp for my taste.. might still get it eventually tho.. and besides caesar's price ain't attractive to me.. i'm holding off til i can get it for 360 bucks..

1 year warranty only ah, better than nothing but still not much. well, are they trying to say their swords are easily getting rusty? well, if owners know how to take care of it shouldnt be a prob. they could include a small booklet in the box with the products on the dos and donts of sword care. i've seen ppl talking about the types of products ppl can use on the swords to polish/coat etc... but caesars sadly does not provide them. prob have to source from hardware shops?
been to sheares last weekend. they dont have much stock much do they i dont seem to see the boxes. looks like their stocks are really very little, those on display are prob their own collection only. do they have a catalog stating their prices for uc's sword?

they just brought in fresh stocks as of 2 wks ago...
i think they are expecting new shipment in a months time..

just casually walked in and looked around. i mentioned before abt probably getting hadhafang but no rush, hoping to get it cheaper on ebay but then only prob is the custom and police over here...

from wat i know.. their stock for hadhafang is on back order... meaning no stocks for sale just yet..
anyway.. hadhafang is one hot piece... for obvious reasons...
sheares will restock.. if u r interested... jus let them know loh...
my advice to u is to get from them and not ebay... just too much hassle and risks involved... besides.. hadhafang has a cutting edge... will definitely hv to blunt it... the blunting process will prob damage the sword to some extent and make it more prone to rusting.. and besides... u won't hv any manufacturer's warranty to fall back on.. like i said earlier... the sword retailers... both caesar's and sheares provide pretty good after sales services... caesar's with its 1 yr exchange policy and sheares with its free de-rusting etc etc services...
I know the online store bladesbybrown sells a bottle of polish that can be used for polishing sword blades.

haha yah hor. looks so antique... like for really old stuff or for oriental blades.
but if you people out there really interested to know about maintaining/caring for the blades, can go check out UC's forum and also the fantasy forum hosted by blades by brown.
lovers of legolas and his knives will be happy to know tat his scabbards will be in next week @ caesars...

nope... i won't be on the show... cos the show is a financial show not a hobby kinda show...
they are looking for collectors who can boast abt the high resale values of their collection... my collection consists of purely easily obtained blades... so i can't speak of any high resale value for them...

further more, i'm going to keep it, not going to sell it off in the future. i thought it was a feature on lotr collectors. maybe they can consider ppl like EA and others who have so many SSW products. they sure can fetch a good resale value, just take a look at ebay!

well I do know that the LE Anduril is worth about US$500 now. that's a cool profit of SG$360 if I sold mine now.
yah guoyi & ea, looks like they should consider either the scalpers at cq and Chimess and Sky's ssw collection.

i dont know how they made the blade which looks like metal glow like that. previously i thought that they would make some blade with some blue plastic so when it glows the light blubs/leds just light up to get the effect. boy am i wrong, this is so incredible. heh, feel tempted to buy liao. see if caesars bring it, they should be most likely, they did bring mr's star wars range here. just dont know how much would they be selling it. i believe it will be hot property!

price range should be between SG$210-250. anything more and its too expensive.
after seeing the mr's sting, it could well turn out that their staff, which you ea is looking forward to seeing, would be quite nice too. but they have only released pics of sting. others not yet leh, but yet... like some ssw figures they are being snapped up already seeing the sales bar. even more than sting which has pics shown already. incredible.
i saw on caesar's website that they stated they will be bringing in mr's lotr range in. come on mr give us the pics of the rest!
