tats rite.. i was pleasantly surprised too... think its the same price over @ sheares too...
they must have gotten wind of Sheares thus they reduced the prices. they were selling their swords for $420 for members for so long why reduce the price now. I have a feeling they found out about Sheares thru' our forum
oh really? seems like they noticed the existance of sheares and the prices are too much of a competition for them eh? hope someone here can confirm all their swords prices have been lowered to the same of sheares.

actually caesar's prices are rather inconsistent... they kinda pegged their prices on the blades' perceived demand... for instance, i remember getting glamdring, sword of witchking all @ 390, whilst other swords, like ringwraith @ 420...
oh.. and of cos, they know of the existence of sheares, heard from someone tat sheares pioneered the trade in replica swords...
yeh, quite true. sometimes i think the swords by right should be selling at the same price as others but it wasnt that case. also smaller swords should cost cheaper by sense but it seems sting and hadhafang's price wasnt much difference from the bigger sized ones i think. if not i would have bought them long ago.

tats rite.. i was most unhappy with the prices for hadhafang and sting @ caesar's...
UC's RRP for those 2 was much less than the RRP for the standard long swords...
so.. i got my sting elsewhere...(but alas, just b4 they had tat half price for sting gimmick) and yet to get my hadhafang...
that settles it. will use my 1/2 month bonus next month to buy Herugrim. 
i'm sure to get herugrim too.. now just raking my mind over where and how i shld display it....
as it doesn't hv much of a cross guard... it will be hard to suspend it off hooks... hmmmm...

hey guoyi! just been to caesar's site, the anduril scabbard costs $345 and not $315? some of the other products had diff prices as stated by you? though they said it was tentative retail price. they even said due to arrive is the mini hadhafang, been waiting long for this. noble came out theirs long ago, didnt know why uc took so long.
and also, they mentioned bringing in MR's lotr range EXCEPT their sting. damn... why is this so... i would love to have that.

not sure how Caesars are gonna fill their orders for the MR LOTR items. this was posted by an online retailer by the name of CBSwords. they received the notification from Master Replica.

tho, a few months back... sheares sold the shards for 100 bucks less... they are all sold out, and i doubt u can ever get them @ this kinda price, unless its some desperate collectors dumping...
juzt bought the shards of narsil today. now eyeing next on legolas swords.... saw at caesars today selling for $495 is it considered cheap?
BTW does anyone know i can get the UC 1/5 shards of narsil with the statue (the one holding the shards in rivendell) set?

its not $45 for the UC miniature shards of narsil... i think its in the region of a hundred bucks...@ caesar's.. not sure the exact price...
no pix yet for the scabbard of anduril... neither is there any date given for its release

I juz been to caesars, they have sold out and they quoted $110. very expensive for it....
maybe have to try evilbay or the search site.

hi sky, yup... the elven knife comes with scabbard included...
last i checked.. its 495 for non-m'bers, 420 for m'bers... @ caesar's, not sure abt the price @ sheares..
oh... and wanderfool, are u oredi a m'ber @ caesar's? the shards' price u quoted is b4 discount rite? anyway... for caesar's... they do hv discounts for a range of other 'organisations'... like for SAF, SAFRA... even if u aren't a m'ber yet...

$495 is expensive, ask EA, he got it at around $370 $380 ? can't remember

there are some individuals out there who charge relatively cheaper prices as they order in bulk straight from UC... i am awaiting my UL Anduril from one such collector... paid just slightly above 400 for it...

slightly less than 300 bucks.. see how first...
hope this scabbard fits well.. i didnt get strider's sword's scabbard as it was too tight... i got the sting one tho... and fits real well...

the scabbard for strider's ranger sword was made far too tight... it had to be pushed in with force... pulling it out was even more difficult...
i am one who's waiting for the anduril scabbard. let's see if ea manages to get any news about that piece from sheares from his visit.
sad to say I have not visited Sheares. been rotting at home. been sleeping late for the past week becoz of Euro 2004.
hahah i have also yet to visit them...maybe next week..
heh, so maybe bleahhh, you can enquire for us since ea's so shagged. well, actually cant we just call them n ask?

nope.. the staff were too busy whilst i was there... erm... u can always call them up if theres anything u wanna find out abt their stuff...

staff of GTW is 72" while staff of saruman is abt 76"...
