I'll probably wait till Sunday night before placing the order for the MR FX Collectible Sting sword. To date, only noelchiew and Wander_fool have signalled their interest in the FX Sting sword.

I will not collect any deposit too. When I receive the product, you pay me the full amount after you have inspected it and you're satisfied with the condition. I just hope no one backs out after telling me they want an item.

My contact mostly deal with United Cutlery and Master Replica products but if you're interested in some other sword, I can ask my contact if they're able to get a hold of it. It would be good to provide me with the name of the item and the manufacturer. A picture would be even better.

actually FX stuff like the light sabres...ahve given me the impression that FX stuff would be bulky and not scaled to the original...but MR sting doesnt seem to be like its predeccessor light sabres....so i am interested...

but any of u got any idea if it would be sized and scaled as original???

from the reviews and pics of the mr's sting. i can say i believe it's really a good buy. it's exactly like uc's BUT... it can glow! so of course it's better. PLUS, it doesnt look fakey/plastiky. that's the wonder of it. mr really had some secret manufacturing process to make it that way.
incredible, that's why i'm getting it. the only possible bad point i can think of is the quite lousy quality plaque compared to uc's. uc's much nicer in presentation. though mr's plaque enables you to display it on the table horizontal or vertical on the wall... cool...

so i think if you havent got uc's sting yet. and would like to have a sting, get mr's version.

the blade for MR FX Sting is made of polycarbonate and not fibreglass. polycarbonate is a strong, durable, clear plastic material.

warranty is not possbile noelchiew unless I do a 1-to-1 exchange with my contact but that will incur extra shipping cost.

bleahhh, I need to ask you this. is the blade for the MR FX Sting sharp? would you be able to use it to cut a piece of cardboard? I'm asking becoz UC's version of Sting has a sharp blade and you can use the sword to cut a fairly thick piece of cardboard.

hm... now that you mention it ea, if the mr's sting ain't sharp. then it wouldn't be considered as weapons by the police/customs? so it will not have probs bringing in eh?

i guess that there should'ent be a prob as other shops can bring the MR sting in for sale.. The mt sting for for display purpose only. like wat they said on the website... the swords are a no no for dueling.
