got an update from my supplier. highly unlikely I'll be selling any MR products in future. my supplier cancelled their account with MR. read the emails to and fro MR's account manager and from what I can see, it's better for my supplier to stop then to continue doing business with them.

Saw the MR sting at a shop in CQ today... the blade really looks steel and cannot believe my eyes how did they make it possible to glow. hope to swing mine and heard it hummed when it arrives.

nono, it's not bluish. it's the lighting that makes it look that way. the actual anduril does shine a little doesnt it, it's not like the shards. the metal plate on the plaque is gold, again the lighting may have tricked you. i believe it looks just like the LE anduril, due to the plaque but i do think the sword is the UL anduril. i cant really make out the runes but it does seem it's not in gold. also there's no engraved no i believe. i mean obviously right? with that price it's surely a fake and also a fake cant be a LE with engraved serial number.

unless he listed the amount wrongly! but unlikely, the UL seems to be selling under $200 so if it's actually $450 it's still too much just to have the LE plaque replacing the UL plaque.

yo guys can discuss the fake andurils here instead of the ssw thread. amazing how well they can make the fakes to look like the real thing now. previously, the fakes are really cheapo looking, more for those really no $ and just want a replica. but i see no point, rather buy the real one from uc.

the uruk's schmitar probably didn't sell well, so UC has less interest in releasing baddies' weapons

imagine the length of the original spear... might be longer than the staff if gandalf. shipping must be expensive.

gil-galad's spear is a beauty. many fans have asked it to be made. but have to be patient, UC is already so busy with current works and have others in the making. if they were to decide to make that spear, it wont be that soon.

anyone who have been to the exhibition at the SSC would have seen just how long the spear is. there will be many concerns for UC to deal with on deciding to make it or not, afterall, it did not have much screen time in the movies.

i think around 2 seconds when gil-galad used it to thrust it into the belly of a fell orc. but the spear is a beauty, reallly looks good with his elven shield.

i find only the blade that's a beauty, the handle is just like a normal staff/broom stick? lol... it's the beautiful elven designs on the blade that's attracts me.

i dropped by caesars and seems they have a spare sting plaque, they told me their manager agrees to let go at $10 which i dont mind paying. but after inspecting... pui... haha... it's in poor condition.
i'll try asking from UC direct, as the wooden dowl i asked previously.

their service is really good, i asked Kit Rae about it and he sent me the wooden dowl and a cert which i did not have by priority mail, at no cost.

will the customs allow the spear to be ship in????

it will be the same as the other sharp weapons like hadhafang if the spear is sharp. so have to depend on retailers to get it. unless you want to spoil it by blunting it and forking out extra for license. sianz...

oh nothing wrong with my sting plaque... i dont have one! i just want to get one for my future sting... hehe.

well, doesnt sting come with a plaque.

i dont like mr's sting plaque. so plain, if get UC's can match with my other UC swords.
