Assortments 3,4 and 5 details.

Toy Biz has finally updated their site with details and images of The Two Towers assortments 3, 4 and 5. Asst. 3 and 5 are listed as spring 2003 releases although many collectors have already started to find these figures now. Asst. 4 is listed as Summer 2003.

honestly hansolo, this is old news. I'm more interested in a confirmed list for ROTK figs. currently, there's a list for ROTK figs but a tentative one.

looks like they're leaving out Boromir and Gimli...

me want legolas first from the 2nd assortment

is the helms deep legolas the same as the one available in the market?

chey i check the toybiz webby. the helms deep legolas and legolas with rohan armour are same, expect they resculpt the hair. and onli includes an extra shield with rollers. rubbish!

Yep yep....saw somewhere the list of figures from Assortment 1-5. No single pack Gimli for TTT.

I thought helms deep legolas has a different face sculpt. The face is not like what is in the movie

yup yup. the Helm's Deep Battle Set is a must have. the only fig in the set which I'm not too keen on is Aragorn coz of his weird-looking face.

I found this pic of a Gimli with axe throwing action. is this a single carded fig?

The figure seems exactly the same as the Gimli Vs Uruk-Hai 2-pack from FOTR...

right down to the orc blood on his armour...

I guess if Toybiz cancelled it, then it's only available via the two pack...

did they ever issue the goblins on the wolves before?

U mean the warg rider aka Sharku? Not that i know of... but it's coming out in ROTK!!! Together with King Aragorn...

is it true that series 4 which includes Armoured Theoden, Twilight Frodo, Gollum and some other figs will be released sometime this month? if it's true, would they also re-stock figs from the previous series? hmmm....

just hope that they restock previous assortment esp lots of legolas.

info from 66Summers is that they won't. He mentioned Series 4 will be in sometime this month, maybe next week but the likelihood of a re-stock of the previous series is minimal.

does anyone know if the Theoden fig in the Helm's Deep Battle Set is an Armoured King Theoden or just the regular King Theoden from Series 2?

thanks Tritone. that means I won't be buying Thoeden from Series 4 then as I'm planning to get the Helm's Deep Battle Set. I want to get the Gollum though. At least this figure would be easy to find. Heard the case assortment for Series 4 will be 3 or 4 Gollums in a case of 12.

Confirm S* brought in all those Legolas and Easterlings along with the other characters. Dat's why got Legolas and Easterling. Departmental can't sell their other figures such as Aragorn, Wormtongue and etc..don't think they will bring in any more boxes of previous assortment to bring more burden. ****************

I plan to get the Helms Deep5, but am also planning to get the Armoured Théoden with (what'shishorse'sname?).

eh, there's an Armoured Theoden with Snowmane deluxe set?

as far as I know there isn't for the TTT line or would it be out for the ROTK line?
