1) Did Kensin die in of the illness he and Kaoru have? What illness is that? blink.gif
2) Kenshin's technique which his sensai taught wasn't pass on? Did he invent his own sword technque? blink.gif
3) I can't remember the fellas name who fought with Kenshin, he dress up like those military people from the Meiji government, what happen to him?

1) Did Kenshin suffer & die in a illness?! blink.gif All I know is that in the last issue of the comic, Kenshin's body starts to deteriorate as his body frame can't take the power from his fabled sword technique...

2) Kenshin's sword technique is taught by his sensei and no one else...he did modify a bit of the current techniques rather than invent his own but he did not tweek too much of it...

3) Is the guy Saito that you are talking about? The guy with 4 long hair fringes that uses the thrust technique? He now works for the govt as a police officer...in the comic he is still alive and well...

In the movie his sensei saying that the technique will die with him, and Kenshin's son who was training with his old sensei to aquire the skill wasn't taught as well I presume?

Hey thanks for the insight.

I'm not sure. The DVD I purchase title "SamuraiX Reflection"

In the movie Kenshin's son look exactly like him only younger, I'm not sure whether if its followed the Comics ending part. I bought the DVD from Gramaphone $39.90.

Ok, here's how it works. There's the Samurai X (or to give it it's non-American name, "Rurouni Kenshin") TV series. There was also Rurouni Kenshin the Movie, which is like an extended episode of the TV series but which is very much a stand alone adventure and doesn't fit very well into the continuity of the anime story.

Then there are 2 OAVs. The drawings and graphics for these 2 movies are radically different from the TV anime; plus, they're are also very very graphically violent. The first OAV deals with Kenshin's beginnings as Hittokiri Battousai and chronicles how he gets the scars on his cheek. So in terms of continuity, the first OAV is set some years before the start of the TV series.

The second OAV: Seisouhen occurs some 15 years after the events in the manga have ended (the TV series deviated from the manga somewhat but anyway). Kenshin and Kaoru are married and have a son, Kenji. Suffice to say, both Kenshin and Kaoru are ill from an incurable disease and at the end, they both die.

And that in a nutshell, is that.

Almost eveyone one was in but they act differnetlt, in term of the way they think and act. wink.gif I guess this DVD that I purchase more about the how Kenshin struggle to redeem himself of his past sins as a Battusai. sad.gif

I guess he is carrying all the burden towards his death which he's trying to seek forgiveness, which I guess will never happen no matter what he did. sad.gif

Its a sad ending to such a chap cry.gif I wonder if I'm still able to find the DVD of his front part of his life (how he get his scar)..
