nev heard? have you seen/heard of the one ring from them which inscription can glow under uv light? that is from them...
syuki
Here's their website.

Evita Premiums

You can buy their rings from ST I think.
noelchiew
they didnt list their new range of the rings of power.

yes st is selling them... may not have stock though, if that's the case got to order. since you got to give them your ring size. yes, it comes with different ring sizes instead of a fixed size, so everyone can wear it if they want to!

there is a finger measurement thing at the shop.
noelchiew
this arrived last nite, but only got to take pics now.

share one incident with you guys. came home after work, just roughly glanced at the vpost shipments. though i noticed four parcels, instead of 3 which should be all that i am supposed to receive. but just ignore and went to do my stuff.

later come back and check how come there are 4 parcels, took the first parcel and felt, eh, how come soft one ah, i didnt buy any thing like this. then i check the label, saw that the name is not mine. it's a female's and surname is similar and live in same block.

i ususally do tell my dad how many parcels so he can make sure all arrive, but for this time i didnt. so he didnt know and didnt check. and guess what is labelled on the package? victoria secret: bra n bikini! lol!!!...

went to return to the rightful owner, but sigh... nothing much to see. hahaha...
noelchiew
this was free but came same day as well...

I see major opportunity for Noel... biggrin.gif

Go pass the package to the rightful owner, and have fun.... wink.gif

Do you guys actually buy the lotr rings to wear? If so, gold-plated ones won't last too long on constant wear. The silver ones are more suitable for wearing, in my opinion, though I have not worn a silver ring since secondary school (which is a damn long time ago at that! laugh.gif ).

I like wearing 'centrepiece' rings myself, quite like the 'big' lotr rings, just that I don't get lotr rings, with the exception of the solid gold one ring, which I'm still considering to this day, because I find the ones offered have bands that are not thick enough...personal preference, I guess.

Price is another factor, since a 18k one ring costs more than a 22k similarly designed gold ring, minus the elvish script. I even went as far as asking if goldsmiths could do the elvish runes for me on a 22k gold ring that you can easily get at the goldsmiths, but the 'one-off' single work chart was off the charts.
noelchiew
i dont wear the ring on my neck or finger. just for display. cos mine is meant for display only. those meant to wear comes in different ring sizes to suit all ppl.

alvin, get the original one ring. from jens hansen!
askl2000
I would get the jens hansen one, but for that price with no precious stones or anything, not quite worth it leh...
noelchiew
yeh, sometimes, there is a price to pay for premiums. what to do... but it's exactly the same for sure as the prop.
askl2000
If you see what kind of rings I wear the next time you meet me, perhaps you'll know why I still holding back on the purchase of the one ring...in my opinion good to look at anytime, but wearing it don't seem to hot imho...unless get a huge and thick one and wear on index finger like sauron...heh heh...

bernard, have you tried putting a light source shinning from behind the lava base?
was hoping that the lava will be translucent like what was shown in SSW's pic.

user posted image

askl2000
I'm fairly certain it is the paint only...don't think they will use translucent resin, then coat with 'clear' reds, though that would be cool.
noelchiew
again the product pic looks so much nicer than the real thing.

i'm used to not relying on their product pics. it's not accurate...
toyseller07
exactly. same sentiments wink.gif
Wander_fool
Hey... its good to get such a low edition number. laugh.gif laugh.gif im still waiting from ST for my own piece.
noelchiew

those from ST would most likely be in the high '000s (edition number)

noelchiew
never know also, random anyway.

but nos arent important to me as to alvin and soo wee...
dawgee62
Yes, it is some sort of translucent and fluorescent paint, glows red in bright light. And when I shine a torchlight behind it, the light does come through and lights up the rock base.
noelchiew
that is so cool!

better if you can show us those effects!

That sounds too good to be true...makes me feel quite a bit of regret not placing a pre order with ST...wonder if they have anymore unreserved ones? rubchin.gif
noelchiew
can always check with ann... the mace and the mini helm may not be so popular as others.
askl2000
somehow, I'm not too sure about that...already Eomer's helm all booked liao, what more about Sauron's stuff?

No big deal, actually...can always get from ebay, though the prices suck on ebay nowadays... sad.gif
Chimes
Isn't Eomer's helm released for pre-orders quite some time ago? Why is SSW "announcing" it again in its lineup for this year? huh.gif

maybe its a mistake? could it be Eowyn's helm?
noelchiew
it could just mean it's a list of what will be released this year. not a list of new unrevealed products...
