Do you guys realise we have 2 new mods in the Tolkien section? They're Shockwave which most of us know for quite some time and the other is JazzGirl.

Also, 2 of the threads, 1 on SSW Statues/Busts and the other on UC Swords. Helms and Replicas have been moved to a new section in this forum which Rory[Shockwave] is moderating. It's under Other Collectibles subsection Statues, Busts and Other Props/Replicas. Go check it out.

thanks for the welcome! for those who checked out the LOTR exhibition at the Science Centre last year, you would have seen Jazzgirl as one of the staff working there in the exhibition hall. i'll leave you to guess which one

hi shockwave, I went for the exhibition last year, one sad thing was I though could take pictures when I reach there there were sign say no pic to be taken

When I visited the LOTR exhibition last year, I was a total newbie, had absolutely no idea of names of the good guys and the bad guys, and quite clueless about everything LOTR. But I was totally bowled over by the exhibits, tho' frankly I expected much more. There was one very enthusiastic female guide who patiently explained to the visitors the details of the orcs' and uruk-hai's costumes. Very impressive knowledge, I thot, at that time!
