Anyone who watches the ROTK extended edition would know how some of the Toilken experts speak of Kalavela - the finnish folk songs that inspired the Elven language Sindarin. I wonder if anyone hear of the complete recording.. I thought of getting it from Amazon. anyone with experience to share on that.
By the way, is there a group of LOTR fans in Singapore who are grouping to learn Tolkien languages. That will be fun!

Hello Aaron. Welcome to SGC. There is Tolkien Introduction Corner thread here for newbies. Tell us about yourself and your collection of LOTR stuff, if any. Hope to see your posts here more often. We are a small of group of Tolkien and LOTR fans and collectors. If you are keen on teaching or learning elvish or other ME languages, I am sure some of us here would be keen to explore further.

Thank you for your kind words, but perhaps due to my inexperience, I have unknowingly offended a frequent, perhaps senior, member here. I regretted that my reply might also appear that I retaliate. I don't think I wish to put any more postings here, in case I offended more members here.
I am sorry.

Not to worry lah. Newbies are not expected to know everything. And we all have to start learning somewhere, at some point. It is easy to be impatient, sometimes inadvertently, towards those not as quick or "in" as some of us. Why should any of the members be offended? This forum is open to everyone and nobody has a monopoly on postings. Be as thick skinned as a fell beast or orc, and post! But better to read the threads first and newbies sticky threads to get a hang of what is what.

who's offended? infact i think your post is ok, you didnt state price that you want to sell and asking us if we interested did you?
my impression was that you are asking for help on what means can you off load the helm. but if the mods think it's against the rules, you can pm them to clarify so that you know what to do right next time.
ops we are getting off topic... i didnt know amazon has a recording of finnish folk songs. you mean learn elvish? that would be difficult! lol
