This seller quoted me $22USD for shipping to Singapore for 1 piece,

Is it that expensive for LOTR items?

or anyone wants to share shipping cost ? tongue.gif

read properly, it's $22 for 1 piece, $30 for ANY AMOUNT after that.

isn't is the same as you getting 20+ figs for $30?

so the first figure is expensive to ship but you save a lot if you buy more. i don't think the seller is trying to cheat buyers off shipping, it's just that 1 cheap item may be a lot of trouble to pack and send. if you buy more it's more worthwhile for the seller. in the US they don't have post offices down the road from their house everywhere like in Singapore. may have to drive a couple of miles away.

erm. sounds ex. can be as cheap as 10usd (which ive had to pay to import some loose TF) excluding insurance. but ebay like that leh. they make money in shipping and packaging.

Yah I read it PROPERLY dude.. dry.gif

No way to pay for $22USD to ship loose 1 fig.. Ship loose max is 10 USD.. Cannot be more than that.. I rem another shipment for me was 10USD to ship loose 2 Minas Tirith Citadel Guard.

He started low to attract prices but then the prices is going to sky rocket towards the end of the auction. This guy has several nicks in ebay, some figs are quite ridiculously priced. He has some bad reviews from another LOTR forum.

i'm not arguing that. loose figures def don't cost $22 to ship.

anyway, since you know this guy's history from other forums, better to beware. doesn't matter how much he's charging for shipping.

ignore my pms to share the figures dude. i missed out the 22 US for shipping. this is madness!

I have got quite a long list of wanted items for lotr and seriously wanting to venture into ebay to get quite a number of figures (>10), preferably from a single source to save on shipping. Believe I can setup paypal pretty fast, but I have no such experience, and the fear of being conned. Any experts can provide any advice on this, like who are the gd sellers and so. Appreciate it. Thanks!

why dun you try getting locally first? and leave those that you cant get for ebay.

Am trying to do so, but some VHTF figures like Moria Archer, Minas Citadel, Gondorian Ranger and Rohirrim Soldier, looks like its cheaper overseas if purchase in bulk.

oh, yeh if you can find a single seller selling at of these and with multiples but it that common? i'm not sure about that.

but that's only if you ship them loose. the more figures, the bulkier the box, it will not be cheap.
