WoW Minis

great news indeed. miniatures rock!

I love miniatures... Been wanting to collect the Warhammer ones but too lazy to paint. The WoW ones look fairly detailed. Hope they don't disappoint.

saw them up close n personal while at Gen Con Oz last week. yah, they look great. but think will be very ex when they go on sale late thi year. the offical site has the price tags already.

I think I like most of the sculps... Except for the gnomes haha.

I m guessing these are plastic and not lead miniatures? they do look great and i believe the higher price tag is to justify the bigger size and detail. the size reminds me of NAVIA DRAPT figurines.

yup, they r plastic. but didn't touch them cos they were in a glass display.

I will want to collect some of those. I can't wait for it to come...

Bought 4 boosters and a deluxe core set this afternoon. Was hoping to secure some epics (esp Thrall) in the boosters but was disappointed, although the rares (Irana, Roria, Thangal) were pretty cool with the exception of Daelas Firewing. Then I opened up the deluxe and found 2 epics insde! Wow. High Priestess Tyrande Whisperwind and Archmage Arugal. I thought that was the end of it till I saw the Fillet Kneecapper Extraordinaire and Storm Rager rares. Blizzard sure is generous. Got 3 slashdance loot cards which could be used as a pretty bookmark.

Paintjob on the WOW minis are a level above D&D minis, but they are lacking the dramatic poses of the later. Not to mention pricey too. Im not sure if i'll pick up this game in future. Currently they seem sold out everywhere here.

Just sold off my unopened starter box. Decided that I don't want to collect these as I'm not satisfied with the paint quality.

I can't find any boosters in Sg! Decided to complete a set so I had ordered 2 cases from the states. Including shipping (~US$78 for 2 cases), its cheaper than buying in sg with ~S$10 savings per booster! I had chanced upon a site which offered the lowest price i've searched for over 2 days. Not sure if im allowed to post the link here, but if your're interested do PM me for the link.

I think they sell complete sets on ebay. But I suppose they cost a lot more than getting them for boosters and trading =\

A full set is going for ~SGD$600 currently. Buying by the boosters is more thrilling though. The excitment and feeling of getting the miniature you desire is undescribable. Not forgetting the chance to get some niffy loot cards like the Red Bearon which is going like US$150 on ebay

But what are you going to do with all ur extras? Haha. Takes up space and will probably be hard to sell them off since they will consist mostly of commons n uncommons.

Hi Ailver, its not US$78 for the 2cases, thats the cost for shipping 2cases! Lol.. and shipping is free if you stay in the states.

Ok the site I ordered from is www.starcitygames.com, and they were selling each case (16boosters) for US$119.99 before new year's day. Currently its selling at US$139.99, which is still cheaper than most/all online sites which are selling in the region of US$150-160.

I have not received the cases yet although the order has left the states on 12/31, but they should be arriving next week. If you still have your extras, maybe we could trade-up then.

I think its a bit like warhammer (the role playing one with the figures, not the tactical type). Any way gonna wait till the hype dies down, thewn i consider. quite ridculous to buy the whole set.

Me and the kid started playing this game bought the starter set from comic connection but having a really hard time finding any booster sets, does any of you know of any good stores for them? tried most comics connection around and some other local comic shops to but to no hope.. so any help would be appricited it !

You can try the comics shop at Bugis or there is one more at East Point near Simei MRT I think
