to tell you the truth, i can barely see the difference between this so called hand mande one and the normal mass release of all those bruce lee

enterbay should stop doing expression-less bruce lee and start creating more iconic look for bruce.

IMO, it still doesn't warrant its own thread,.. all of this arnie's so called hand made bruce lee should've just been lumped into 1,....

All due respect... I think Enterbay's BL has a more accurate lower jaw sculpt as compares to Arnie Kim's pcs. Perhaps is the lighting, perhaps the angle, but Enterbay's version is good enough for any BL fan. No point shelling out the extra hard earned money on the other version Arnie Kim or not.

No offence but IMO Enterbay's WOD looks nothing like Bruce Lee, the big ears, the giant eyeballs, the long face. I don't think enterbays WOD is good enough for a BL fan I really hate it, that's why I sold it with my other figures to get this one. IMO the only figures from enterbay that are good enough for a bruce Lee fan are the Enter the dragon figures, they are a work of art

Arnie's hand-made Bruces served as building blocks for his practice to better Bruce sculpts & they do look good with personalised paintjobs, albeit the generic bodies they come in. However as with all EB releases, only the basic core caricature likeness is there, which is already something no one has achieve before Arnie. Even EB's ETD A & B, raved by lots of folks to be the most accurate releases, when under scrutiny actually still falls short too.

Personally I wld of cos luv to own one of Arnie's better hand-made ones just to have a piece of Arnie's progress history, But I still hold high in regards to my enterbay pieces too cos all of em look good in overall, yes even the 1st GOD, cos they each depicted the changing look/features Bruce had during his different films & times. So no, I don't think the hand-made ones are above the rest.

stevestar510, thanks for sharing your pics, I appreciate them. You feel that Arnie's originals are way better & hated WOTD & EB's releases, all's good cos everyone sees things differently....but please, quit being condescending.

Obviously I dont hate all enterbay releases, because I had all the figures to begin with and still have version A. Nevertheless, I do hate WOD and I do hate the original GOD, but thats my opinion and I am not trying to persuade anyone else to believe me.

I don't mean to be condescending, I said "IMO" I dont think entebay WOD is good enough for a Bruce Lee fan. Others might think WOD is good enough and I respect their opinion but IMO I dont think it is. However, that is just me I like my figures to look realistic and a work of art just like Hot toys figures are. I by no means think Arnies hand made figures are perfect, I think enterbay's "prototypes" are way better. Most of Enterbay's products are ok but "IMO" they look more like toys and not works of art with the exception of the enter the dragon figures. However, personally I think enterbays enter the dragon version A is better than Arnies hand made enter the dragon that was on ebay.

Well your generalizing statement, regardless of "no offence" or IMO, did come across as a pretext to make a dig at the judgement of other BL fans whom like or own this figure, but hey, a little elaboration goes a long way.

Yes that is true I was only responding to porkins73 words, I wasnt making a statement as such just responding to his words with my opinion. I did not set out to glorify my figure, I only posted this thread because people asked me to show them my collection.

The arnie hand made scrupt is not bad looking.
IMO, works of art are very subjective.
Cannot compare as it is each own personal taste.
EB and arnie hand made one both are good.

IMO works of art have little to do with personal taste, they have to do with a figure that looks realistic and shows extreme likeness to the real thing, does not look like a toy, and thus, is the closest thing to perfection. Personal taste comes into play when one likes a figure not because it is realistic or shows likeness but for the simple fact that the figure is appealing to them, for whatever reason. For example, some people out there like the 1st version of hot toys joker, even though it looks nothing like the real thing, they just like it because they like the look of the figure, that is their personal taste. Even though I don't like enterbay WOD, it is still a nice looking figure and was the best mass produced Bruce Lee figure you could get before enterbay released their enter the dragon figures. However, I don't like it because it has so many faults and IMO does not look like Bruce Lee at all. I don't know maybe I am still bitter because the enterbay WOD final product looks nothing like the prototype figure that was promised to us. I consider the enterbay WOD prototype a work of art, but not the final product, because it looks so deformed compared to the prototype. I guess if I never saw the prototype I would say that enterbay WOD is an ok looking figure because it does look like Bruce on certain angles, but not a work of art, as it doesn't blow me away.

IMO that is incorrect, while there was need for some improvement in the hand made figures like giving Bruce a more narrow nose, the figures in the pictures below are still closer to perfection than any of Enterbay's final products that have been released so far. Therefore, they dont serve as building blocks but rather as guides to what enterbay is trying to achieve. Plus they have far more than the basic core caricature likeness, they look more like Bruce Lee than any enterbay product.

IMO it is obvious to anyone that the hand made figures even with slight imperfections like flat wide noses in the pictures below are alot better than any of enterbays final products and thus, are above the rest. This is because something goes wrong when they try to convert resin prototype to the plastic final product. The only enterbay figures to even have come close to the quality of the hand made figures are enter the dragon figures. This is not personal taste this is just a fact that with the exception of that ETD hand made figure on ebay, most of Arnie kims hand made figures blow enterbay figures away. This is expected because the hand made figures are made out of resin and have not been converted to plastic, which causes the sculpt to be deformed. Nevertheless, most people think enterbay products are good enough for BL fans and are quite happy with them. Anyway it does not matter whether the hand made figures are better because they are unattainable to most people due to their limited quantities and high prices.

There are people who are willing to pay more than 1K for a EB Bruce Lee Arnie Kim hand made face sculpt figure.
Some think it is crazy to paid that kind of price for a figure while some think it is worth it cos' of Arnie Kim fantastic face sculpt.
